bluesign^® is a holistic system designed to provide sustainable production solutions for factories and brands. It tracks every step of the production process from the source and offers targeted solutions to help factories make improvements.

Since obtaining bluesign^® certification in 2017, K and K has demonstrated a strong commitment to producing sustainable products. Adhering to the principles of bluesign^®, our products have gained a competitive edge in the global market and strengthened the confidence of our brand partners in our capabilities.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) provides certification and standards for brands and suppliers using recycled materials. Through GRS audits, both raw materials and finished products achieve maximum efficiency in recyclability. Additionally, GRS evaluates social responsibility, environmental impact, and chemical usage to ensure all certified companies meet globally recognized standards.

In 2021, K and K proudly obtained GRS certification, marking a significant milestone in our sustainability journey. Concurrently, we launched the Green City Initiative, continuously embodying eco-friendly principles. By innovating and expanding our range of recycled-material products, we strive to meet market demands while promoting sustainability.

The Oeko-Tex^® Standard 100 certification rigorously tests for harmful chemicals,
ensuring that all substances used in production are safe for human health.
Participation in this certification guarantees that products meet the highest
safety standards.

Aligned with K and K’s core values, we strictly monitor the use of all raw materials
and chemicals. This commitment has enabled us to consistently achieve the highest
Class 1 certification under Oeko-Tex^® Standard 100, making our products safe and
suitable even for infant and toddler use.

The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainability in cotton farming. Through farmer education, BCI advocates for the use of natural pest control, efficient water management, and fair pricing. This approach not only helps farmers secure their livelihoods but also ensures the production of high-quality natural cotton while minimizing the environmental impact of over-farming.

By joining BCI, K and K supports farmers within the supply chain, aiming to protect the environment while upholding human rights. This initiative reflects our dedication to sustainable development and ethical practices. 

Self-assessment plays a crucial role in defining K and K's standards and positioning. As part of this commitment, we participate in the Higg FEM (Facility Environmental Module) self-assessment. This enables us to continuously improve across various aspects of our factory operations, including production lines, water usage, chemical management, energy efficiency, and waste management.

By leveraging these evaluations, we aim to enhance environmental sustainability while fostering the long-term development of our facilities.
